Mini design apartment in Milan
A designer mini-apartment in the heart of Milan’s new skyline.
Mini house in Milan is an architecture and interior design project that intrigued and entertained me from the first inspection. A contained interior space of 35 square meters, to be transformed into the Milanese family retreat. A high-end context, a high-profile architectural project with a swimming pool, spa and gym in the heart of Porta Nuova in Milan.
For the realization of this mini apartment design we worked on the smallest details of the apartment, using all the available space and incorporating innovative and functional design solutions.
The mini house consists of an open space, with small a living area and a functional kitchen with snack bar. The request of the hosts was very specific about this aspect: inside the smart solutions, intelligent use of cabinets, storage and shelves; outside, in the large terrace of about 20 square meters, the dining and relaxation area to be experienced from spring to autumn.
The bedroom, on the other hand, has been separated from the open space. Here, for the interior design we played a lot with the texture of the walls and the furniture.
The ways of living, the rules and our habits have completely changed in this last year and the home environment has taken on new dynamics and new priorities. Today, by designing in a few square meters, we have succeeded in organizing a high-quality, technological, innovative, design, smart and at the same time equipped environment with every comfort. A real metropolitan refuge to feel At home.

Details of the apartment
A detail of the bedroom, a separate space created from the main open space. Here we have given important importance to the texture of the wall, to the colors and to the light.
Behind the bed, a transparent lime marmorino finish that lets you glimpse the spatula strokes, created by Fracasso, the center of the colour.
In the room, the Eclipse wall lamp by EgoLuce stands out: the memory of a moon, with radial light and an aluminum structure.
The architectural project
The mini apartment is located within the architectural project ” Porta Nuova Centro” built between via Marco Polo and via Vespucci in Milan by the studio Arassociati.
A prestigious context, which is located between the new skyline of vertical Milan and the residential tradition of the city. Inside: a large hall, a fitness area and an indoor swimming pool on via Marco Polo.
The design of this mini apartment is a beautiful game of transparency that allows modern architecture to integrate perfectly with the surrounding environment.
